The Board of Directors of US Tobacco Cooperative Inc. has named Oscar J. House, III c.e.o. and president effective January 15, 2019.
House joined USTC in January 2018 as the senior vice president of manufacturing at USTC’s manufacturing facility US Flue Cured Tobacco Growers, Inc. in Timberlake, NC. Prior to joining USTC, he was the director of operations for Phillip Morris International with oversight of their Bogota, Colombia operations. Prior to that, he served as the director of operations of PTHM Sampoerna in Jakarta, Indonesia. House has also held multiple management roles at Liggett Group, Inc.

House has a solid record of leadership, operational experience, and passion for tobacco to lead the USTC organization. He will have responsibility for the day to day activities of the consolidated organization as well as the development and implementation of annual, long term, and strategic plans. He will report directly to the USTC board of directors.
