Far East Leaf Indonesia (FELI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Star Tobacco International, inaugurated its new Indonesian headquarters in the former Embassy Building of the East Timor Consulate in the diplomatic suburb of Renon in Denpasar, Bali.
The event was attended by over 20 major clients and 10 majors suppliers of FELI.
FELI has been active in Indonesia over the past five years and has become a mainstream supplier to small and medium companies in the Java region. This success can be attributed to FELI’s investment in infrastructure in tobacco storage depots in Jebel which carries a full range of imported Virginia, burley and oriental tobacco, as well as reconstituted tobacco and fines.
It is also a major exporter of Indonesian tobacco to Star cigarette and cigar producing clients in Europe and Central America.
Hosting the event, Mehmet Ayyildiz, vice president of FELI, stated, “The move to a larger headquarters set of offices will provide for a larger team interacting more closely with our customers and suppliers thereby implementing our new slogan, ‘ FELI Moving Forward Together’.”
