From May 20, 2020, all menthol and skinny cigarettes, as well as rolling tobacco, will be banned in the UK, along with all other tobaccos which have flavors added to them, as a result of new EU Tobacco Product Directive laws. The rules will also apply to rolling papers.
By the new laws, no person may produce or supply a cigarette or hand-rolling tobacco with (a) a filter, paper, package, capsule, or other component containing flavorings; (b) a filter, paper, or capsule containing tobacco or nicotine; or (c) a technical feature allowing the consumer to modify the smell, taste, or smoke intensity of the product.
